Nope, this is not Japanese maki/sushi. This is Korean Kimbap (or sometimes called Gimbap). Instead of being served with the usual wasabi and soy sauce, they had kimchi to accompany it.
I ordered it from my Korean officemate for lunch today. Unfortunately, I was not able to eat it (as I was swayed to order several McDonald’s happy meals – yes, because of the toy Smurfs haha, ok ok thats a whole other story). This did not have anything raw in it, so I kinda knew that it would last until dinner. Thought it would be a light dinner, but NO! I couldn’t even finish it!
Hmmmm… I wonder if it will last until lunch tomorrow?!?! ;D
