Yesterday, JodiesDaddy and I drove all the way to Angeles to eat at C’Italian. JodiesDaddy ate there a few days back and was raving about the food and I have read about it as well.

We had the best seller, Panizza and I loved it so much that I was craving for it again today. Lucky for me, Chef Chris (the Chef behind C’Italian) had branched out in Manila with his “My Kitchen with Chef Chris”, so we didn’t have to drive all the way to Angeles again today πŸ™‚

We had the Don Carmelo (spicy chorizo, anchovies, thyme and peccorino cheese) panizza – it was really so delicious. I liked that the dough was not too thick, and that the alfalfa sprouts and arugula (which I normally don’t like because of its bitter taste) combined well with it. The panizza is not as thick as a pizza (even a thin crust pizza), so it was not too heavy but still very filling.

We also had the homemade Italian sausages (we got the combination of regular, sweet and spicy – spicy was my favorite) which was served with fried potatoes and greens on a bed of lentils.

For dessert, we also shared one of the best Tiramisu’s I’ve ever had. Seems to me they used real mascarpone cheese and that each lady finger was dipped in espresso πŸ™‚

Overall, even if the food was quite pricey (especially for a party of 2), I would definitely go back to My Kitchen… I think I know where we can invite our food trip group to go to next πŸ™‚
