Like most of our other dining experiences, it is usually driven by a craving. A few days ago, we were craving Tsukemen. We went back to Mitsuyado Sei-Men.

JodiesDaddy had: Marutoku Tsukemen
Marutoku consists of char-siu, aji-tama (Japanese egg), nori and vegetables. It came with the original yuzu broth and JodiesDaddy had it with the cold noodles which are more al dente than the hot noodles.

JodiesMommy had: Cheese Curry Tsukemen
This time, I didn’t make the mistake of pouring the cheese sauce over my noodles. I put only a bit with each bite. And the cheese complimented the curry broth perfectly. I too had the cold noodles.

We Shared: Chicken Black Pepper
We loved this dish. The chicken was tender and not rubbery and the sauce was thick and we could really taste the black pepper. Although I think I would have enjoyed this more with rice.

If during our first visit, we were not that impressed with Mitsuyado, slowly we are becoming converts. So much for the saying: “first impression lasts forever” 😀
