It was a real treat for me to have been given 2 sample Angus burger patties by Jam Foods. I read somewhere that what makes a good burger patty is the kind of meat/beef that is used… So how can you go wrong with an ANGUS one, right?!?! The meat on this one was superb! It wasn’t tough and it had no funny smell that some people don’t like in beef. It was pure ground beef goodness.
I had it 2 nights in a row: one night with home made fries and the other night with home made onion rings and rice.
So how did I cook it?! On a hot iron skillet, with just a little olive oil and seasoned with ground salt and pepper. And about 3-4 minutes per side to achieve the medium well doneness I like on my burgers (thanks to Michelle for the instructions).
