Chicken Black Pepper Teriyaki Don from Mitsuyado Sei-men

I love the taste of black pepper so it came no surprise that I really loved this rice topping dish. The chicken was tender and the taste of black pepper very strong – and just how I like it. They definitely did not scrimp on the black pepper haha. Since it was bordering on overwhelming, the chicken went really well with the steamed rice (we had this ala carte before and it was a bit too much as is). YUMMY!

P.S. it reminded me a lot of the Black Peppercorn crab at No-Signboard in Singapore 😀
