Date Night Chronicles:  Barcino

JodiesDaddy and I are reviving our once-a-week date nights.  And for this week, we chose to unwind and destress with drinks, tapas and a paella in Barcino.  We used to frequent another Spanish place more, Beso Cucino Vinoteka but it has since closed.  Nonetheless, Barcino was a good choice especially since we were both not too hungry and we just wanted something to quench our (inner alcoholic) thirst and something to munch on.  

The Chistorra satisfied our need for bar chow and my Sangria contented my parched throat (JodiesDaddy had a Estella Galicia). The Paella was a plus as it was something light to eat (maybe because it jus basically just had clams in it).  All of that, combined with sharing of a few stories and comfortable silence set for an overall satisfying night.  Definitely a great way to kick-off our Date-Nights.
