Birthday Meals. I’m pretty sure you all have your favorite things to eat on your birthday’s. For JodiesDaddy, it would rotate among 3: Shabu-shabu (or hotpot), steak or CRABS. For this year’s celebration, his wish was CRABS. Not just any ordinary crabs, but the Crab Sotanghon from Hong Kong Master Cook in Seaside Market along Macapagal Avenue.
Yes, I know I’ve written about Hong Kong Master Cook countless of times already. But indulge me as I share (once again) our staples:
- Crab Sotanghon
- Inihaw na Liempo (Grilled Pork Belly)
- Salt and Pepper Squid
- Fried Rice
- Scallops with Tausi (black beans)
It seems a lot right? Well, it was and we came home with a lot of leftovers! Just thinking of this lunch is making me drool.
