This Family Eats at 101 Hawker Food House

Jodie requested that we eat Malaysian-inspired food one fine Saturday. I honestly don’t know where she got the idea from, but we obliged. I scoured the internet for reasonably priced Malay cuisine in the Makati and BGC area and stumbled on an old-timer, 101 Hawker Food House

It turned out to be a good choice as we were able to sample a little bit of everything.  We had:

Singaporean Laksa

Beef Satay. We didn’t like this at all. It was so tough.
Eggplant with minced meat. I personally liked this the best.
Mediocre Char Kway Teow.

I have to be honest, it wasn’t the best Malay food I had, but at least we not only satisfied our craving, but also did not have to empty our wallets.  So, we’re not complaining.
