This Family Eats at Duck and Buvette

Finally had the chance to take Ron and Jodie to Duck & Buvette. I was so excited for them to try the Crispy Potato Pavé and the USDA Prime Paleron steak which I fell in love with the first time I was there, so I made sure we ordered it. I was holding my breath the whole time as they dug into the dishes one at a time. They loved it as much as I did! What a relief haha The only complain I heard was from Jodie who didn’t like the cream on the crispy potato . Ron was impressed with the steak’s sear and how well seasoned it was.

USDA Prime Paleron Steak – 12oz. USDA prime paleron cut steak, mushroom sauté, peppercorn

But for me, the showstopper of the entire meal was the Farmhouse French Bean pasta. For such a simple oil-based pasta dish it was packed with flavor!

I promise you, that Papardelle was just too good!  Nothing beats homemade pasta.

Homemade pappardelle sautéed with French beans, cherry tomatoes, some thyme and topped with light feta – it was light and delicious. To seal the deal, another plus with the dish was, it was less than Php300.00 (Php280.00 to be exact). Isn’t that great?

I seriously cannot wait to go back and have my family and other friends try it.  Hopefully next time, I can try their Crispy Half Duck Confit!
